This Is My Life & My Say!

DAY OUT WITH SWEETIES ! =) 

Been planning to gather with Familigia since I don't know when, but everybody seems to be so busy with their own life.. 

So till now, we still did not manage to meet up as a whole group.. Oh well.. 

Managed to meet up with Vivian, Bernard and Wan chin today for Buffet~ =) 

Its my first time I think, having buffet together with friends~ Normally I would go with my mum and her friends, so this time its the first~ 

My look of the day~ I simply LOVE my hair colour ! 


Thanks to Anson from Russell Hair Salon at Jurong Point! Great hair stylist! I think I found my hair stylist~ LOL! He knows exactly what colour I want! The brighter the better!! Maybe I am gonna try Red next time? =X 


Anyways, Met up with them at Novena MRT Station~ Walked to United Square~ 


Walked around before we enter the restaurant~ 


We got into the VIP Room, well, still okay I guess, the interior design of the restaurant looks grand~ Should I say like Victorian style? I dont know if it is, but I think it does look Victorian~ =X 


The first thing that was served to us immediately we sat down, was a bowl of hot soup~ 

This is the one, I guess is herbal soup, its quite tasty~  

Finished drinking the soup and off we went to take our food~ 

Every time I am having Buffet, the first stop is COLD DISH SECTION~ 


They have LOTS of choices!! As above, Crayfish, Lobsters, Abalone salad, Lobster salad.. etc.. 


YUMMS~ =) All those seafood does have that sweet fresh taste of it, it was really good! 

How can I miss out, OYSTERS!! Come on! Its damn good!! Its FRESH! Goes with Lemon juice and Tabasco sauce! Perfect combination! The oysters are FAT and JUICY TOO! =) Great Satisfaction!


Oysters was a really hot item there! And when they refill the oysters, they only placed 5 of them on the counter, so people sweep them out damn fast! So the first round I only managed to take three, not only for me, I took it on behalf of Vivian too~ 


Bernard tried too! He is one of us now! OYSTERS! Except for Wan chin though, She didn't like oysters.


The second round, the person placed out 6 of the oysters, and Bernard took 5 !!! LOL!! 

YUMMY!! 

Cold prawns, Sashimis , Baby octopus and Chicken with Chinese wine~ 

Crab bee hoon , spicy scallop, Cereal Prawn and brocolli with some crab meat I think~ 

Crocodile Herbal soup, the texture of the crocodile meat its just like pork but its more of a springy type.. I don't really like it though..

Love the fried durian and fried yam! Didn't get to try Bird nest egg tart though.. Too many people took that.. =( 

Just juice in the tube~ Cheers! =)  

Initially I did order beef and lamb at the Teppenyaki section, but it never came, So I went to order the second round.. And it's not nice at all.. I don't like the TASTE AND the TEXTURE of the beef.. 


Even Wan Chin and Vivian finds it weird.. So I gave up eating after I ate two small pieces of it.. 

Looks nice right? But its not nice AT ALL! Except for the chocolate cake, not too sweet.. Other than the chocolate cake..

Marshmallow with chocolate, and mango pudding.. For the pudding, the texture was pretty rough, not smooth at all! Their desserts just not up to the standard..


I would rate 7 out of 10..


Firstly, the service is not up to standard, we booked our table and start from 5.30 pm onwards BUT you have to leave the restaurant at 7.30pm! I mean come on! This is my first time encounter this ! Time limit?? 


And they actually bring the bill to you! Its like, asking you to pay up ASAP! The waitress will be like a hawk, standing right next to you and WAIT for you to pay up. 

When we wanted drinks and wanted them to refill, they were nowhere to be found, take them damn long to even clear the table.. But when its time to pay up, they are just RIGHT NEXT TO YOU! 


For the teppenyaki section, when I wanted to ask for medium rare, the chef and waiter don't even bother to entertain me, their facial expression were like, "ya ya, whatever." after 30 mins later, I still didn't get that beef. 

Secondly, the food, yes .. The seafood was really good and fresh, that part is really good, but for the beef ?

It taste weird and I had to stop eating the whole piece of it! 


I don't normally do that! So you can imagine how bad it is. 


Thirdly, the dessert.. Sigh, what can I say?! Its not even "not bad" AT ALL! Out of so many cakes, only one cake managed to impress my taste buds.. 


I will not recommend this restaurant UNLESS you are going for the Seafood, other than that, there is no point to visit this, I gave 7 out of 10 is because of the seafood, the seafood did earn the extra points. 

No BLACK HAIR!! WOOTS~~~ I LOVE MY HAIR!! =D 

Miniature cafe and cake shop!! I want these for the longest time ever BUT I have no place to put them AT ALL. So I had to give up the idea of owning one of those.. 

After our dinner, Vivian, Bernard and I headed to Plaza Singapura, while Wan chin headed home.


I think she was too bloated to walk around so she decided to head home and rest~ 


Headed to PS because I wanted to look for fake plant pot to decorate my office desk! I need some greens on my table, so when my eyes are tired, I can always look at the green plant and its gonna make my work place looks lively~ 


But I didn't manage to find any of it! SAD!! Can anyone gives me some idea of where can I get them? 

Something like those up there? =( 


I don't have green hands, but I can try growing them but I need plants that do not need sunlight.. Please help! Thanks a lot! 


Headed to Yishun to meet up with Chad to collect the hamster ~ 


Vivian decided to adopt the hamster when I posted up on my Facebook yesterday~ 

Waiting for Chad~~ 


Collected the hamster and off we headed home~ 


I had a good time with them~ Its been such a long time since I met up with Vivian and Bernard, so its nice~ 

I even bought a jar of candy to eat at my workplace~
