This Is My Life & My Say!

TAIPEI TRIP DAY 5 ! 6 MAY 2012 ! 

We were kinda dead tired on this day because we have been shopping too much~ Whole body hurts like one kind.. 

BUT this is how you do it when you travel aite? 

Your body is dead tired but mentally you know you still wanna get MORE shopping!! =D 

Dropped by 7-11 to get this rice ball~ It was quite yummy! =D


So we met at bout 12 plus?


We were hungry so we decided to look around Ximending to see what we can get for brunch~

We saw this board and thought we could give this a try~

With lots of decorations at the door and was hoping that their food was nice~

The food wasn't that pricey and we ordered a set for oneself~

COKE in bottle! =)


But erm, I kinda think that their coke wasnt that nice? It's as if they put it away for quite some time and it didnt have so much gas in it.. Which I hate to drink Soft drinks without much bubbles and gas in it.. T.T


Moving on~


We waited for the food for more than 10 minutes.. It was a lil bit too slow..


And finally our food came..

The food was such a disappointment..


So after our brunch, we decided to split up for a while, wanted to go and find the book shop at Ximending BUT we couldn't find the book shop, so we went back to our place and rest for a while~


Met up with Sis and Vincent, so we headed to Wufenpu again for more shopping! =D


So we shopped for HOURS!


Before leaving Wufenpu, we went for dinner~

This famous restaurant served the best Lu Rou Fan in Taipei as I was told~


I didn't give it a try last year so I thought we should just give it a try this time! =D Since everyone was hungry..

The time that they served the food was pretty fast.. Within 5 minutes I suppose~


Their food was not so bad! I can see why its famous for its Lu Rou Fan!


If you were happened to be in Wufenpu, you can see it right outside before going in for shopping so you can just give it a try! =)

Overall the restaurant looks like this, it was packed with people!

So we headed to Shilin Night Market for some more shopping and maybe some food~


Mary was pretty upset because she didn't manage to get any bags in Wufenpu, we walked for HOURS just to find her bag, we wanted to find the shop that we bought our bags at last year.. But we just couldn't find it.. T.T


Not sure if we missed the shop OR they closed it down?


Anyways, we heard that there were some changes of Shilin Night Market, was quite worried that we couldn't find the place.. 


We did find the place but we didn't really explore the whole place because we were really tired.. 

They put up the sign and we found our way to Shilin Night market~ 

I finally got to eat this! Been looking for it since I was there because I had a strong craving for this!! 


However, I still did not get to eat some of my favorite food in Taiwan~ Shall get them next time~ (Next year maybe? =X )

We even tried this! Its covered with cheese ~ ! 


It was really yummy! Something special ~ =) 

I also found Stinky Tofu!!! =D 


When I bought this, it was freshly fried!! It was sooo TASTY!!! =D Not smelly at all!! 


In the end I can't finish it all because no one dared to eat.. So I ate half a plate of it~ YUMMY!! =D 

We even tried this drink~ If using direct translation then would be Frog eggs? LOL! But its made out of flour and looked like frogs' eggs thats all~~ Its like a smaller version of pearls? Pearls that we drank from Bubble tea? yeap~

We didn't get this sausage because it was HUGE!!!! T.T 

We managed to walk to Shilin Night Market~ ! 


We even managed to buy BAGS!! =D In a very affordable price! I guess we were all happy! lol~ 


I even got myself two more CUTE bunny tops! =D HAPPY! 

Prawning time at Shilin Entrance! If you managed to catch the prawns, the boss will cook the prawns for you to eat~ I wanted to play BUT on a second thought, it was quite cruel to do this.. Like looking at the prawns struggle to death because you caught it.. So I rather not.. =X 

We saw this and as usual it was a LONG Q... Mary wanted to try~ So we Q up and get one for her~ 


It was still okay.. Not as nice as I thought it would be.. It was just normal chicken cutlet~ 

But the chicken cutlet was darn huge too.. Can cover up her face with it! 


Out of a sudden we just see people gathering around and was taking photos of something..


We were curious so we just walked over and see what was going on~ 


And we saw .. These girls~ 

If you understand Chinese then you would understand whats going on~ 


LOL~ 

Ok...They are the Thai Transgenders ~ Beautiful looking right? 

They are having a show going on and they were out there trying to promote their show~ 

So that explains the crowd.. And trust me.. LOTS OF GUYS~ =X 

After a few hours later at Shilin night market, we decided to go for HOT SPRING!! 

Wanted to go a few days ago but the weather was really hot.. So we decided to go on this day since it was quite windy~ 

We saw Cabs outside the market and I asked them to hop on to this particular cab that the driver was a lady~ 

We told her that we would like to go for hot springs but had no idea which hot springs were opened at that time.. So she brought us to a place with hot springs which was near her own place..

She suggested that she will wait for us until we were done because it was very difficult to cab at that area, and we agreed to it~ Of course we left all our stuff in the cab except stuff like money, camera etc.. ..

We had our hot spring here~ 

Each person paid less than 10SGD, with a bottle of water, small towel and shower gel~ I think it was even less than 5SGD ! And you get your own room for the hot spring!! Because u have to get naked~ haha! 

Mary didn't want to go in for the hot spring but she did not want to be left alone outside~ Because the time limit was 1 hour~ So she came in the room with me, along with a chair~ 

But after chit chatting, she wanted to soak her legs~ So I let her! 

The hot spring was soo good!! I felt so RELAXED! 

Its like all my exhaustion had gone away instantly! I did have a good sleep on that night! 

Enjoying myself!! 

We were chit chatting happily in the hot spring~ After 1 hour, we went out and found that the lady wasn't there waiting for us..

Waited for like 10 mins, we were supposed to meet at 12am, but she was late.. And we were really worried for a moment there.. 

BUT it was all a false alarm~ She really DID came back for us and picked us up!! =D 

It was a great experience~ Like going to a different place for hot spring~ =D 

Went back to our place and I had a great sleep! =)
