ADVANCE BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION! =) 

(With XMAS Wish List below!) 

Last Sunday, Sis, Vincent and I decided to spend a day out instead of going to the AFA that I went every year. 

This year we decided to give it a miss since it was so far away from our place.. And heard that it was damn crowded..

We went to Ukulele movement because I needed to get the capo for my ukulele~ So I can play more songs with it! =) 

When we reached the place, they decided to get me my birthday present earlier~ 

They wanted to get a bag for my existing ukuleles but the problem was, I wanted that pink ukulele so much.. 

I know I already had a soprano ukulele but ever since I saw that pink ukulele, I can't get it off my head no matter how much I wanted to forget bout it.. 

And so, they got me the pink ukulele as my present!! Thanks guys! =) 

After shopping at ukulele movement, we went to the cafe just right downstairs~ Had a hot chocolate with a macadamia and carrot tea cake! Oh so yummy!!

We headed to MBS after that because we made a reservation for dinner at Carnivore ! 

I really love the ambiance and their beef!! Oh so yummy!! 

Had a great time dining there~ We were so full after that and after eating so much meat, I HAD to get some hot tea! So we headed to Au Chocolat.. A new cafe to check it out! 

It was like a cafe that is right located in Paris! LOL! Everything was so Paris alike over there, its not like I have been to Paris, but ya know, it's like in the movies.. 

Their interior designs, their furniture make it feel like we are having our meal in Paris! =) 

We ordered their signature cake and I ordered Chamomile tea to go with it~ I didn't expect that cake to be THAT TALL and huge! It cost like 18 bucks and it can serve bout 3 to 4 person!

I am not a fan of chocolate but this chocolate cake wasn't that bad at all. It goes REALLY well with the tea! So I am not tired of the chocolate taste! Sis LOVES it! =D 

And of course we were sooo bloated after that! 

We checked out their retail store after that, which sells all sorts of Chocolates and candies~

I thought I was the only one who named my ukuleles but apparently I see almost everyone naming their ukuleles!! LOL!! 

The next day I brought Cookie for his sterilization surgery.. And after he was back from his surgery.. He was in so much pain that he couldn't even rest his hind legs.. =( 

I felt so bad for him but it's always better to sterilize your dogs. I am so lazy to explain it here, go do research yourself! =) 

Trying to get him to rest.. He was too stubborn and lie down, but I kept waking up to check on him and eventually he got so tired that he finally lied down and slept.. I think he didn't have enough sleep.. 

Hopefully he gets better.. 

I have always wanted to decorate Sakura chan after I got her.. And I decided to BLING HER!! Muahaha!

Tadah!!! It took me about 30 minutes to finish the whole thing.. =) 

So pretteh!!! =D 

Have been playing so much ukuleles that I didn't read as much as I do in the past.. =X 

Oh yes, Christmas is approaching and I don't know if I am able to celebrate this year because my new job may require me to work on that day.. But I am still gonna do present exchanging with my loved ones! 

And of course if you wanna do present exchanging with me, PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP!! 

And yes, Laopo has been asking for my Christmas list for this year.. So I am gonna list it here! =D

- Books ( Since I too have no idea what books I wanna get, so maybe vouchers would be good? ) 

- Ukulele ( I mean I have 3 already BUT I don't mind having more~~ LOL!!! ) 

Seriously I HAVE NO IDEA What the hell I want for Xmas, But that's about all?? hmm.. As usual, please don't get me anything useless like soft toys (unless its Tarepanda) , photo frames etc.. =X

CAFE HUNTING 3 ! 

Went for my interview yesterday and the thing was I GOT THE JOB!! YAY!!! Japanese Cafe at Vivo ~ =) Hopefully everything is gonna turn out well and the great thing was, the offer was actually quite good!! Can't ask for more now~ And the funny thing was, I mistaken the GM for a lady because his Japanese name sounds like a lady's name, in the end is one tall man.. =X Shocked and most embarrassing moment yo! 

So after my interview I was STARVING! Like I can faint any moment at that time.. Because I didn't get to eat till 2pm.. I made the reservation the day before because heard that it's very popular! =D 

Sis decided to join us at the very last minute~ Yay! Girl's day out!!

Read their review before we visited and they are actually quite popular! 

The arm chair looks sooo cute!!

I was wondering if its more like European style or English.. =X My sis think its more like Italian style~ 

I ordered Wild Mocha Dolce which is with Espresso, Chocolate, Honey & Milk, Sis had Hazelnut Latte and Mary had Rose Hip Tea~ 

I have to say, the Mocha was AWESOME!! BEST MOCHA EVER!!! It taste really great, the combination of coffee, rich chocolate and honey & milk sweetens the whole drink! While sis' Hazelnut Latte was flavorful, light and smooth.. I didn't get to taste the tea though~ hehe~ 

As for our main dish, Sis and I ordered English All Day Breakfast~ And Mary ordered Aussie Grass-Fed Sirloin with Brioche! 

See how awesome it was! I saw a review online saying that if you are starving that should order this because its VERY filling, and so I did! Because I was STARVED! And I seriously nearly couldn't finish the whole thing!! 

 But oh yea, I finished it!! YUMMS!! I was so full, from 2 pm all the way till 10pm!! =X 

Had to walk around after our meals, because we felt sooo bloated!! So headed to Kinokuniya because I was looking for ukulele book~ Like a ukulele book for beginners~ Managed to get one! yeah! Gotta start learning!! 

Walked over to Art friend to get some painting materials because sis wanted to learn painting~ =D 

We are getting new hobbies! =) 

Had our dessert time at PAUL which is right in Takashimaya~

I gotta say, I LOVE THEIR MACAROONS! And the desserts go so well with the tea~ The only thing I don't like is their Napoleon .. =X their lemon cake was kinda good too~ Not to sour but has a very strong lemon taste and smell, which is quite refreshing~ =) 

Their interior designs looked kinda English to me~ Not sure~ Just guessing~ =D 

Had a great day yesterday with my love ones..

I had a rough day today, been crying for the whole day because I was reminded how A used to betray me, it felt like its gonna happen again. Which I seriously hope it won't.. 

Just find some people so damn nonsensical, I don't wanna blog what really happened ( For now) because one thing is I am too lazy to post up all the text conversation we had, and one thing is I dont wanna make things uglier for my friend. 

I still treat her as my best friend but for now we need a cool off time. 

I don't wanna spend any more time to fight or argue with someone who don't know me and judge me all the time. And trying to change topic from one to another when I answered every single nonsense questions. Its really ridiculous.. 

Hopefully my new job is what I have been looking for and a new start which I have always wanted. 

CAFE HUNTING 2 ! ANTOINETTE & BOOK CAFE ! 

Decided to meet up with Mary and Seng last week~ It's been quite since we hang out together, at the same time passed them the gifts that I got them while I was in Taiwan.. 

Met up at Lavender station and headed to UkuleleMovement shop~ Which was AWESOME!! Surrounded by people who were playing ukuleles and getting their own ukulele~ I nearly got another one for myself! Well, that Pink Ukulele I have been aiming for quite a while.. But I was stopped by them.. 

Maybe I will go back and get it myself~ *Evil laughter*

Dropped by at Antoinette for lunch, since we were nearby and Mary did mention that she wants to join in my Cafe hunting~ yay!! At least  I am not alone~

We were pretty amazed by their interior designs, it was like modern English design? Everything looks so classy and gorgeous! 

Of course not to mention their cakes and everything! 

I know I should have brought the camera along with me, BUT I brought my Polaroid so I decided not to make my life so difficult.. =X 

Luckily it wasn't very crowded..

The food was not bad but a bit too pricey.. And seriously, very small portion.. The pasta itself cost 26 bucks each.. Not saying that you shouldn't dine in here but maybe think twice before coming in? 

Since pastries is their main product~ 

We tried Mont Blanc and Green apple mousse cake~ We didnt try their Strawberry shortcake even if its their most popular item in the cafe.. We decided to try something different~ 

I gotta say, I freaking love the mont blanc of theirs!! As for the green apple mousse cake, it's a bit too sour for me.. But its quite refreshing..

Seng had to leave early for her back treatment, so me and mary stayed for like two hours? Chit chatting away~ lol~ 

We had no idea where to go, so we headed off to The Book Cafe, which I wanted to check out for the longest time ever! And it was really tough looking for that cafe since we don't drive.. =X 

We walked all the way from Clarke Quay to Robertson Quay.. =.=  At the same time, digested our lunch and got ready for our dinner~ lol~

The Book cafe was quite spacious~ 

I ordered Joe's Olive rice and Mocha with Ice Cream, Mary ordered Avacado with Egg White and Turkey Foccacia ~ Mine cost about 13 bucks for the rice and about 7 bucks for the mocha.. I dont think it was expensive at all, its actually very affordable..

I totally love the food! It was not bad at all! Kinda creative and tasty! =D  What's really bonus was their staff was really friendly too, recommending food and checking out how do we like the food etc.. =) 

I will check it out again one day if I really wanna walk all the way from Clarke Quay.. =X 

We were so lucky that we got this spacious sofa seat when we reached!! =D So comfy!! I even read a lil~ 

I didn't check out the books since it was kinda dark to even read the title.. Only certain spots had spot light for you to read.. So if you wanna read, I suggest that you can go during daytime?
