Hi people~!!!
Yes.. Its been a long time since I last blog.. Been very busy with work and I was really tired to update this blog of mine.. Decided to upload something before I forget everything..
Basically work has been okay. I guess.. =X All I can say is, been really tired and busy that I need a break badly.. Anyways, gonna blog some event that happened during these few months..
On 9th March 2013, my Sister officially turns 21 !! Yay!!
She is officially an adult now~~ Mum decided to hold a birthday party for her at Hard Rock hotel in Resorts world Sentosa!
It got me soooo envy that I want one too!! hehe~ Why my 21st birthday seems so pathetic compares to her?? LOL!! But its okay, its her birthday and she deserves to be happy and pampered! =)
On her birthday, we went to collect her birthday cake at swensens and then checked in..
We checked in late because my mum's friend was being so stuck up.. oh well.. Shall skip the details, but I hope her children's birthday will be a total mess ! Hmpf! CURSE U BITCH!
We booked 2 adjoined rooms and it was AWESOME!
The rooms were clean and was kinda spacious but what surprised me was, there were no bathtubs.. Seriously?!
Is that all you've got for a high class hotel in RWS?? T.T It was disappointing though..
I've gotta say, the beds were really comfy though~
Mum came in the evening because she woke up early and cooked all the food for the party!
KUDOS to my mum and all her effort! She is the BEST!! =D
AWESOME FOOD were prepared for us!! ESP the Curry chicken!! EVERYONE LOVES the food!
People started to come and, we had food, games.. watching tv, slacking, chit chatting, bla bla bla..
Of course before the people came, Vincent and sis decided to decorate the room a bit with balloons and some decorative stuff which made the room really cute and party-ish?
At about 9pm or so, decided to sing birthday song and cut cake~~

The cake was awesome luh!!! Great Ice cream cake!!!! And we finished it!! Woohoo!! Non left!!

Yes, my only friend who I invited was Laopo~ Since sis and Vincent knew her, also sis didnt mind her coming, so I invited her~~

Last month, I got to know there was this book fair held at Expo and heard that they sell their books at a VERY LOW price, so I decided to check it out, even requested that particular for my off day!
When I went, I was like, its kinda small for me.. But after 30 mins later of browsing of books here and there.. I realized, its not that small at all! But their books range can be wider.. =X Well, just saying~
I even saw people with trolleys and was piling up TONS of books!! First time seeing that and I was kinda shocked by it.. =X It was too exaggerating!! Imagine pushing trolley with LOTS of books!!
After an hour of browsing of books, people started to come in .. I even got a empty box to put in the books that I was going to get.. It was my first time taking so many books in one go! It felt great!! I spent like 79 bucks for all 15 books! SUPER AFFORDABLE!!!!
I wanna go again!!
So I took cab back home~
Yes people! I haven't forgot my cafe haunting even when I was really busy and tired!!
Well, I only went twice for these few months, wanted to go at least one cafe or restaurant once a month, but April and May would be difficult and I'll tell u why later~
Been to Arteastiq Cafe at Mandarin Gallery, wanted to go to this Australian kind of restaurant at Mandarin Gallery but find it too expensive to dine in.. (maybe next time) and also the food was not that attractive to us, so we left and found Arteastiq cafe nearby.. So decided to check it out..
I love the interior design of the cafe, I didnt take much of a picture that day, only food picture, so deal with it! LOL!
Me and Laopo decided to have this Steak with red wine sauce..
Well, we were looking forward to have this.. BUT, it was such a disappointment.. The meat was overcooked.. It was REALLY rubbery and no taste AT ALL.. They claimed that they only can do well done because it was cooked before hand because of the marination needs 1 day, so the flavor can seep into the meat..
SERIOUSLY???
NO TASTE AT ALL... The red wine sauce was good.. BUT.. the meat itself was toooo bland and rubbery that it was the WORSE steak I EVER had.. It was on recommendation list too! The chefs working at Arteastiq.. U need to get ur shit together! =/
My sis ordered Salmon fish.. And the fish was SOOOO SALTY!!!
I would give 0/5 for the food.. It was such a disappointment and waste of money..
After that, we ordered tea.. Red dates oolong tea..
I gotta say, this tea WAS.. AWESOME.. ok.. At least the tea tasted good! No need to add any amount of sugar, the natural taste itself was good enough!
Highly recommended for the tea! If I were to go back, its because of the tea and would love to try their desserts and NOT the food..
Next stop was Epilouge cafe at ION.. Which is INSIDE of Prolouge Bookshop..
Was going to check this book shop out and decided to give it a try~
The tea was good but TOO strong of the flavor,it smells really good and flavorful, it goes really well with the carrot cake because the cake was too sweet for me..
I went during weekdays so it was less crowded and I spent an hour reading in there.. One thing to comment about the place would be, if the furniture of the cafe can change to sofa seats, and it will be perfect~ =)

Yes~~ Finally, a short break after all the work at my workplace would be so good!
Beach getaway! Can't wait to travel~~!! Would be going with Wan Chin and Vivian!! Wanted to go with Laopo, but she was too busy uh so no choice~
Okay, I am gonna run now! Or else I am gonna be late for work!! Ciaossu!!
