This Is My Life & My Say!

DAY OUT ON FRIDAY~ 

Met up with Sis, Vincent, Shuyu and Wanying for buffet on Friday night~ 

We bought this voucher online during Feb but we weren't able to reserve a place, so we were only able to reserve a table for us on Friday~ 

Headed down to Tanjong Pagar MRT station straight after work, its been quite some time since I was at that area, I used to work around there, so it kinda brings back memories~ haha! 

So I met up with Shuyu first because others were late.. 

Luckily I know where Amara hotel is, so we headed to their restaurant and get seated first~ 

About 15 to 20 mins later, they reached and we started to have our FEAST ! =D 


The ambiance was kinda nice, we've got a corner sofa seat~ Soft drinks are free flow~ 


So we started eating~  

Of course, Cold dish first, it has a long Q, so I only took a few, but sis helped me to take some food after that~ 


I kinda like how they put sauce and bits of fruits on top of the scallops, refreshing sauce on the mussels. It really was appetizing ! Something new~ =)  But the sushi weren't good enough, the rice was hard, I think they have placed in the fridge for too long, or they left it for overnight.. Just not good..

Oysters! Its not big enough BUT fresh enough~ Their prawns were really good, big, fat and not to mention FRESH! They didnt cook the prawns for too long, so biting the meat was really enjoyable! Like we all praised the prawns! So damn nice! =D 

How can I not mention this? LOBSTERS! =D 


We all had one! The waitress served it to us~ Lobster with cream sauce~ It was sooo good! 


It was piping hot when it was served to us! The meat is just woooo ~ ~ ~ 


Actually when u walked into the restaurant, you will smell the lobsters! Made me sooo hungry!! and drooling away.. =X 

Their bread was really yummy too~ Just like how I enjoyed my bread when I went to Apollo hotel~ 


Their hot dishes weren't impressive enough, they didnt have much to offer and it was really so-so.. 


But one thing I loved bout was, their cakes!! Like seriously! Whenever I go for buffet session, I would always look forward to their cakes but somehow they always disappoint me.. 


But this is different, their cakes were really awesome, i didnt manage to take any pictures of the cakes, because I was busy eating away~ =X 


And one thing is, they dont serve second servings of that same cake/dessert. I didnt manage to take Tiramisu but Vincent did~ 


At first I was like, I'll try but I dont think it will impress me.. But I was so wrong, I LOVED IT! 


Their Tiramisu was really good!! But too bad, I only get a bit of it~ And of course I remembered eating a cinnamon petite dry cake, it taste really good! =D 


Overall, their cakes are really impressive~ I dont mind getting their tiramisu cake~ 

We spent bout 3 hours eating, but i don't think I eat much.. Because I stopped first before everyone else did, Wanying really CAN eat! I mean she is so skinny but she sure eat a lot!! T.T Envy much! 


So after dinner, we were thinking of where to hang out next, didnt had any idea and I felt like going for singing session~ So we went back to Jurong, headed to Arena.. Something like a country club~ 


We waited for bout 15 minutes for the room to be ready because they were out of rooms, so we gotta wait..


Played pool with sister~ =D Its been a while since I played and I still sucked at it~ 


The place we went its called Atlantis club if I am not wrong, its a club for guys.. Like host club? Lots of old uncles... =.=


Anyways, we proceed to their KTV room and seriously its been a while since I see a old school room.. With small TV, and erm.. Sound system sucks.. T.T but then its still better than no room~

Had fun singing songs~ We sang from 12 plus to 2 plus, except for sis and Vincent who wanted to go back first.. 

So I went back with Wanying and Shuyu at bout 2 plus~ Waited for cab and headed home~ 

Overall it was a fun day~ It has been quite a while since I hang out this late.. 

Parents were out of town for the week.. Like7 or 9 days? Feels a bit lonely when my mum is not around~ 

But hopefully they will have some fun! =D
